四川省概况及与美经贸往来情况
一、概况
四川，位于中国西南，是古代南方丝绸之路的起点，也是“一带一路”和长江经济带的重要交汇点，中国的资源大省和经济大省，经济总量跃居全国第6，已成为西部大开发、内陆改革开放的战略支撑和前沿阵地。
二、与美经贸往来情况
2016年，四川省对美进出口总额140亿美元、同比增长11.5%，继续巩固了四川第一大贸易伙伴地位。吸引投资方面，2016年，新增33家美资企业到川投资，新增合同外资实现7287万美元，同比增长59.8%。2017年一季度，四川新增美国投资企业8家，新增合同外资达9666万美元，同比增长129%。在川投资世界500强美国企业达到72家，占来川落户境外世界500强总数的31.7%，是来川落户世界500强最多国家。
境外投资方面，2016年四川新备案对美投资企业37家，备案投资额1.44亿美元。主要集中在批发零售、商务服务、房地产租赁、软件和信息服务业、文化、餐饮等领域。2017年一季度，四川新增对美投资企业1家，增资企业1家。

Brief Introduction to Sichuan and its Cooperation with the United States Sichuan, located in southwestern China, is the starting point of South Overland Silk Route and also the important intersection of the “Belt and Road” and the Yangtze River Economic Zone. It is a major province in China in terms of resources and economy, with the total economic output ranking 6th in China. Besides, it also serves as the strategic support for Western China Development and the inland reform and opening-up. Sichuan’s foreign trade and utilization of foreign investment are both in the front rank in western and central China, the foreign project contracting continued to be ranked among the top 5 in China. World top accounting firms, law firms, management and consultation institutions, human resources service providers have entered in succession. Sichuan is front runner in providing convenient investment trade and efficient administrative examination and approval and promotion of experience of Shanghai Free Trade Zone, all in an effort to make things easier for the enterprises. With the seven major strategic emerging industries, five major high-end growth industries and five major emerging pilot-oriented service industries and by cooperating with the world, Sichuan’s industry level is about to be significantly improved. More than 200 featured industrial parks and over 20 national industrial parks across Sichuan provide a vast space for development both in scope and in depth, which provides an excellent carrier for the global enterprise agglomeration.
