浙江省概况及与美经贸往来情况
一、概况
浙江省位于中国东南沿海长江三角洲南翼，素有“鱼米之乡、丝茶之府、文物之邦、旅游胜地”之称。2016年全省实现生产总值6998亿美元，外贸进出口总额3365亿美元（位列全国第四），浙江民营经济发达，在2016年中国民营企业500强中，浙江有134家企业入围，连续18年蝉联全国第一。
二、与美经贸往来情况
双边贸易：2016年,浙美双方贸易额实现550.4亿美元,同比下降0.2%。其中，浙江省向美国出口492.6亿美元,从美国进口57.7亿美元。
双向投资：截至2016年底，美国共在浙江省投资设立5957家企业，合同外资167.6亿美元，实际外资67.7亿美元。投资主要集中在汽车零部件及配件制造业、房地产、纺织服装制造业等行业。截至2016年底，浙江在美国投资累计共有1326家企业，投资总额为150亿美元,中方投资额为107.5亿美元，投资行业主要集中在零售业、批发业和商务服务业等行业。

Situated in the south of Yangtze River Delta and along China’s southeast coast, Zhejiang has a long-standing reputation as "a land of fish and rice, home to silk and tea, a place of rich cultural heritage and a tourist paradise". Zhejiang is economically powerful. In 2016, Zhejiang’s GDP reached 699.8 billion USD, and foreign trade 336.5 billion USD (ranked fourth in China). Zhejiang is famous for its robust private economy. In 2016, 134 Zhejiang-based enterprises made to the list of China’s top 500 private enterprises, the biggest number for 18 years consecutively.
Economic and trade ties with the US
In 2016, Zhejiang province achieved an import and export value of $55.04 billion with the United States, down by 0.2%, among which, the export value at $49.26 billion; while the import value at $5.77 billion.
By the end of 2016, Zhejiang province has approved 5957 investment projects from the US, with contractual foreign investment of $16.76 billion and actual foreign investment of $6.77 billion.
By the end of 2016, 1326 enterprises (institutions) have invested in the United States, with contractual foreign investment of $15 billion and actual foreign investment of $10.75 billion. Major sectors involved are retailing, wholesale and commercial services.
